Beast Will be Blue in X-MEN: FIRST CLASS

X-Men: First Class is currently in production and very little news has surfaced lately. One particular question many fans have been asking seems to have been answered.

Many fans have been very dismissive of X-Men: First Class from what they have heard so far. FOX has continually crammed characters into X-Men: The Last Stand and X-Men Origins: Wolverine in order not to relinquish the movie rights back to Marvel Studios. In doing so, many liberties have been taken with the comic book mythology.
Details on First Class have been vague and what we know so far bares little resemblance to Marvel's original first class of mutants. Although it is still too early to know for sure if any others will show up, Beast is the only original member from the comics confirmed to be in this prequel. David Bentley from The Geek Files has done some digging on this and a few other details.
Hair and make-up artist Candy Alderson recently posted in her blog about the 60's hair styles she was working on for the X-Men cast. She also helped put to rest one of the larger speculations about the movie:
"I've been spying on Beast, he's being made next to our fitting room. He looks big and very blue!"
Nicholas Hoult will play Beast (Hank McCoy) in the movie; a younger version of Kelsey Grammer's portrayal of the character in X-Men: The Last Stand. Beast was one of the original X-Men but was not blue or covered in fur when he first appeared.
In other X-Men news minor casting additions have confirmed the involvement of Russia in the storyline, more specifically the Kremlin. This was first hinted at by the leaked set pictures from the production showcased Mad Men starlet January Jones in full Emma Frost/White Queen regalia.
...a list at Casting Call Pro details several other roles in the movie, including Russell Balogh as a Russain soldier, Artem Sinelnikov as a Kremlin War Room technician, Irena Kiseleva as a Russian secretary, Will Wheeler as an Oxford University student, Maurice Hunt as a Jew, Leonard Redlich as a Stormtrooper, Andrew Foster as a German soldier, Charlie Hobbs as a refugee and Juan Herrera as an airport worker.
X-Men: First Class, due out June 3, 2011, stars James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Kevin Bacon, Nicholas Hoult, Jason Fleming, and January Jones.

Every piece of news about this movie is like a big red warning flag. Everything about it just feels off. I never thought Xavier's baldness was something that needed to be explained.

Yeah, I'm looking for that one piece of good news that will get me excited for the film. At least the picture of January Jones has her wearing white.

I am glad you guys are at least trying to look for something redeeming. I myself can't.
I have hated the last two X men movies so it's proving very difficult to be optimistic. At least I am reading these articles, but still it's like out of sheer morbid curiosity.
