UNDEAD NIGHTMARE Releases In Time for Halloween

The upcoming downloadable content that features zombie cowboy mayhem, Undead Nightmare, will be available for all Red Dead Redemption players October 26th for 800 Microsoft points ($10).

Rockstar Games also announced a stand-alone disc which will contain all DLC packs for Red Dead Redemption, including Undead Nightmare, Outlaws to the End, Legends and Killers, Liars and Cheats and all multiplayer free roam packs. The disc will be playable without the original Red Dead Redemption game (ala Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories) and will cost $29.99. No release date is finalized at this time.
"Undead Nightmare turns the world of Red Dead Redemption upside down/ The supernatural vibe and the return of some favorite characters create a whole new game inside an already incredible world," said Sam Houser from Rockstar Games.

The single player missions will rack up an estimated five hours of additional story gameplay. Plus: not only will you fight the human undead, but you can ride zombie horses and battle undead cougars and bears. It has also been hinted that the DLC pack, continuity-wise, may all just be a dream in relation to the main story since it can be played at any point to the main Red Dead Redemption campaign.
