Steve-O Sobers Up for JACKASS 3D

Jackass 3D hits theaters today and film star Steve-O was sober for the first time while filming the highly anticipated sequel.

The Jackass films and short lived TV series are a cultural phenomenon and one that has given birth to internet copycats worldwide. Jackass 3D is bringing the original crew back together one more time to show the ripoffs how it's done. But this time Steve-O, who has had a very public substance abuse problem, is making a jackass of himself without the help of drugs.

"The Jackass 3D shoot was a little tougher, maybe, to do the stuff being clear-minded and being present. I was more apprehensive. I dreaded it more, but I was also more eager to participate because I wanted to prove to myself and everyone else that sobriety hasn't turned me into a lame, boring wimp," said Steve-O.

Jackass 3D looks to bring the pain once again and even though Steve-O did it all without that extra help, like he as before, his co-stars were all behind him and think this is his crowning achievement.

"He's just awesome, he got great footage. It's his best movie yet," said Johnny Knoxville.
