New Promo Posters For SPIDER-MAN reboot, THE SMURFS and MEN IN BLACK 3
Published: September 20, 2010 - 11:45pm
Though these new images don't reveal anything about their respective film's cast or story, they do give a closer look at their finalized logos and title treatments.
Collider.com was recently sent promo material for upcoming projects being released by Sony Pictures. These are some of the first pieces for the Spider-Man reboot (taking him back to high school and using some aspects of Ultimates story arc) and Men In Black 3 (taking Agent J back in time to team with a young Agent K).
The MIB logo did have an update from an earlier Sony movie collage promo piece from June depicting it with three I's in the middle but now the logo takes MIB to the third power. There are two pieces for The Smurfs which takes the blue cartoon characters into real life New York.

They didn't even bother to design a new logo for the Spidey reboot.

With a budget only around $80 Million, Sony has to cut corners somewhere.

Glad I wasn't the only one to think that when I saw it.

I'm sure it's not that expensive to hire someone to doodle up a different logo.
Are they also gonna use the music from Raimi's films to save money?
I wouldn't be surprised if they reuse the same costume.

Honestly, they need to drop that Spider-Man logo, go with something more similar to the comics this time around

80 million doesn't sound like much for a spidey movie..

Smurfs in New York will bomb. Then Whollyweird will think people are not interested in 80's live-action realizations instead of considering that they invested in a crappy idea.
