Back in 2008 the Bulworth actor filed a suit against Tribune Co. over the film and television rights to Dick Tracy, which is based off the character of the comic-strip of the same name. The LA Times reports that the court recently ruled in favor of the actor.
I am pleased to say that Angel #43 is the first book from the Buffy universe that I actually enjoyed. Even with Joss Whedon writing for the 8th Season TPB, I found that the comic attempted to emulate all of the things that made the television series great and distill it to another medium. As a fan of both graphic storytelling and that particular vampire fiction, I was happy that this didn’t fall into that trap.
