Transformers Foundation #2 might be boring to some and deep to others. Both groups would be correct. It's a well written prequel to the upcoming Dark of the Moon film that features some religious subtext and little in the way of robot-on-robot violence. The promise of the latter is made though for the next issue on a large scale.

Morning Glories #8 is a fine addition to the celebrated series, but is far from the its best effort. The biggest reason for this assessment is that the comic veers away from the mystery of the prep school and gets more into the teen drama. It's well written teen drama, however, and has enough to keep the excellent title moving.
