The Green Hornet is a fun movie and, more importantly, it’s a very funny movie. Director Michel Gondry takes us on a wild ride with an origin story unlike any other. In this very loose adaptation of the original radio series (which has also spawned a TV series, film serials and many incarnations of comic books) Britt Reid is the son of newspaper magnate James Reid. The relationship between the two has been strained ever since Britt’s Mother died at an early age.
