Band of the Week - Dethklok

in

From the cartoon series, Metalocalypse, comes a 'fictitious' metal group that is creating music and yes - touring (I've went and it was amazing) and blowing away everyone else in the process.

band

Mastermind Brendon Small is the writer, guitarist and lead singer for the band Dethklok and if you have any sort of metal blood running through your veins you'd already know this. Their live show is incredible and both of their albums are essential listening for anyone who calls themselves fans of the genre.

Their Sound: Black Metal, Death Metal.

Best Album: The Dethalbum (2007)

Five Songs to check out:

  1. Murmaider
  2. Go into the Water

The show kinda lost me after the first season, but Go Into The Water was the best song on the show. Too bad the album version was terrible.
